PUTSCH® Belt Type Rock Catchers

The PUTSCH® Belt Type Rock Catcher consists of a flume water channel piece with a basin collecting device for the rocks and a connecting elevator for the removal of the separated rocks. It works continuously. To avoid beets falling through the rock discharge opening, buoyancy water runs through the rock discharge opening to the flume stream. The emergency locking device consists of a double hatch with a shaft arrangement diagonal to the flume stream. The pump performance for the buoyancy water has to be adjusted to each condition. The speed of this water determines the separation degree. The rock elevator is a continuous bucket device. The buckets are bolted close to each other to steel reinforced rubber belts. In the upper part of the rock catcher the belts run over bearing equipped beelt wheels. The belt tension takes place in the lower part with looselyplaced profile rings.

Maintenance on the steel reinforced rubber belts is much less than on chain bucket belts and is therefore very advantageous to the customer.
